Faster
Order-to-Delivery Processing
Reduction in Warehouse Travel Time During Picking
Real-Time Visibility Across Stock Operations
Prime Builder’s Supply serves contractors, builders, and commercial customers through a 15,000 sq ft warehouse operation in Missouri. Orders arrive through its online storefront, supported by Contentful and Zoho Commerce, as well as through its sales team.
As demand increased, warehouse teams spent too much time navigating the facility to locate products and complete orders. Picking lists showed what needed to be collected, but not the most efficient route through the warehouse. The result was unnecessary travel and slower fulfillment.
Digital Radium implemented Zoho Inventory, Zoho Creator, and Zoho RouteIQ to introduce location-based inventory management, aisle-driven picking workflows, and automated delivery planning.
The outcome was an 80% reduction in warehouse travel time, 3× faster order-to-delivery processing, and real-time visibility across inventory, fulfillment, and delivery operations.

Prime Builder’s Supply is a construction materials distributor serving contractors, builders, and commercial customers across Missouri. Through its online storefront, sales team, and warehouse operations, the company supplies a wide range of building materials while supporting customers with reliable service, efficient fulfillment, and timely delivery.
Operating from a 15,000 sq ft warehouse facility in Sedalia, Missouri, Prime Builder’s Supply manages inventory, order fulfillment, and delivery coordination to ensure materials reach customers when and where they’re needed.
Prime Builder’s Supply receives orders through both its online storefront and sales team, with every purchase ultimately moving through the same distribution process.
The challenge wasn’t demand- it was getting materials out the door efficiently.
Teams worked from pick lists that identified the required items but offered little direction on the most efficient path through the facility. Pickers often found themselves moving between aisles, retracing steps, and spending valuable time locating stock before they could complete a shipment.
What should have been a straightforward task frequently involved unnecessary travel across the 15,000 sq ft distribution center, slowing throughput and extending processing times.
There was also no seamless flow between collection, packing, and final delivery preparation, creating additional coordination efforts before materials could reach customers.
A closer look at the fulfillment process revealed that the biggest delays were occurring on the warehouse floor.
Although products had designated locations throughout the facility, warehouse teams weren’t able to use that information in a way that simplified picking. Pickers received lists of items to collect, but not the most efficient route for retrieving them. This often meant covering more ground than necessary before an order could move to the next stage.
As orders progressed teams also had limited visibility into what had already been completed and what still required action. What Prime Builder needed wasn’t just a faster picking process, but a more structured way to move materials from collection through final delivery.
Zoho Inventory was well suited to Prime Builder’s fulfillment and warehouse management needs. Its ability to manage inventory, sales orders, and stock movements within a single system provided the operational foundation required to support day-to-day warehouse activities.
Combined with Zoho Creator and Zoho RouteIQ, the platform enabled Prime Builder to introduce location-based picking, streamline fulfillment workflows, and improve delivery planning without disrupting existing processes.
The result was a more connected operation that helped teams work more efficiently from order intake through final delivery.
With Zoho Inventory as the operational hub, Digital Radium designed and implemented a connected fulfillment workflow that linked order management, warehouse execution, packing activities, and delivery planning into a single process.
Orders originating from Zoho Commerce and Zoho CRM were automatically consolidated into Zoho Inventory, creating a single workflow for processing, inventory allocation, and fulfillment tracking.
Products were mapped to their physical aisle locations within Zoho Inventory, making them easier to locate and retrieve. A custom Zoho Creator workflow then organized picking activities by aisle, reducing travel time and improving fulfillment speed.
Package details and fulfillment status were captured during the picking process and shared automatically with packing teams. This reduced manual coordination and helped orders move more smoothly through fulfillment.
Completed orders were automatically sent to Zoho RouteIQ, where delivery schedules and routes were generated. This streamlined dispatching and improved delivery efficiency.
The solution was rolled out across Prime Builder’s warehouse and fulfillment operations, connecting inventory management, warehouse execution, and delivery planning into a more structured process.
The rollout was completed in phases, allowing warehouse teams to adopt the new workflows while maintaining day-to-day operations.
Orders moved more quickly from receipt to delivery, reducing delays across picking, packing, and dispatch.
Location-based picking routes reduced unnecessary movement across the 15,000 sq ft facility, helping teams retrieve products faster.
Teams could easily track stock availability, package status, and delivery progress without switching between systems.
Less time spent searching for products and coordinating tasks allowed teams to process a higher volume of orders.
Picking, packing, and delivery teams had access to the information they needed at each stage, reducing delays and manual follow-ups.
Prime Builder’s Supply needed a better way to manage the movement of materials across its warehouse-from picking and packing to dispatch and delivery.
With Zoho Inventory, Zoho Creator, and Zoho RouteIQ working together, the business established a more structured approach to handling customer orders, reducing unnecessary movement and improving coordination between teams.
Digital Radium specializes in helping businesses turn disconnected processes into practical, scalable workflows. By combining Zoho expertise with a deep understanding of operational challenges, we help teams work more efficiently without changing the way they do business.
